About Macclesfield Pickleball Club

A community-driven organization for all ages and abilities

We are a welcoming club in the heart of Macclesfield open to players of all abilities and ages. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced player looking to play pickleball, Macclesfield Pickleball Club offers plenty of opportunities to play at one of the very few venues with dedicated outdoor courts.

What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is an exciting and fast-growing sport that’s easy to pick up and loads of fun to play.

Think of it as a blend of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, played on a smaller court with a lightweight paddle and a perforated plastic ball.

Whether you’re looking for a casual way to have fun with friends or a competitive challenge, pickleball offers something for everyone. Plus, it’s suitable for all ages and abilities, making it a sport for life.

Ready to give it a go? You might just get hooked!

Beyond regular play, we run a variety of events throughout the year to keep things fun and engaging:

All events are announced via our Facebook page and WhatsApp group. Watch for announcements at sessions too!
